Infinite Becomes a Certified E-Invoice Delivery Service Provider in Slovakia

Infinite Sp. z o.o. has been entered in the official register of certified delivery service providers (poskytovateľ doručovacej služby, PDS) maintained by the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic. The listing confirms that Infinite is authorised to deliver electronic invoices and report their data under Slovakia's new e-invoicing framework, which becomes mandatory for domestic B2B and B2G transactions on 1 January 2027.

The register, published on the Financial Administration portal, is the only source businesses can use to select a provider under the Slovak model. Certification requires, among other things, a valid OpenPeppol certificate for e-invoicing and e-reporting and a registered seat within the EU.

Why a certified provider is mandatory in Slovakia

Slovakia has not built a central state e-invoicing portal. Under Act No. 385/2025 Coll., which amends the VAT Act, the country adopted a decentralised, Peppol-based model: every e-invoice is delivered from the supplier's provider to the buyer's provider over the Peppol network, and the statutory invoice data is reported to the Financial Administration in near real time. The certified providers – informally called "Digital Postmen" – are therefore the only route through which a compliant e-invoice can be sent or received.

Key requirements of the framework:

Scope. From 1 January 2027, Slovak VAT payers must issue and receive structured e-invoices for domestic B2B and B2G transactions. Non-VAT-registered entities are not obliged to issue e-invoices but must be able to receive them. From July 2030 the obligation extends to intra-EU B2B transactions in line with the EU ViDA package.

Format. Structured XML compliant with the European standard EN 16931 (Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, UBL). PDF or paper invoices no longer qualify as e-invoices for transactions in scope.

Archiving. E-invoices must be retained in their original XML format for 10 years.

Transition. Voluntary e-invoicing has been open since May 2026, and a three-month penalty waiver applies after the January 2027 go-live.

What this means for our clients

Companies operating in Slovakia, or invoicing Slovak trading partners, can now use Infinite as their Digital Postman:

End-to-end delivery and reporting. Infinite registers your Peppol Participant ID, validates outgoing invoices, delivers them over the Peppol network and transmits the required data to the Financial Administration.

Integration with your existing ERP. The service runs on the Infinite Global eInvoicing Platform (GIP), which works with any ERP system, so your current invoicing process does not need to change.

One platform for the whole region. The same platform already handles KSeF in Poland, RO e-Factura in Romania, ZATCA in Saudi Arabia and Peppol-based mandates across Europe, so multi-country groups manage all their compliance obligations in one place.

Compliant archiving. Infinite's Electronic Archiving service keeps every invoice in its original XML format for the full statutory retention period.
