Is e-invoicing mandatory in Malaysia?
Yes. The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) is rolling out mandatory e-invoicing in phases from August 2024 to July 2025, depending on your company’s annual turnover. -
What is MyInvois?
MyInvois is Malaysia’s national e-invoicing platform, developed by LHDN and built on the Peppol framework. It is used to issue, transmit, validate, and archive structured e-invoices.

What format is required for e-invoices?
Invoices must be issued in a structured XML format and transmitted via Peppol through the MyInvois platform.

Can I still send PDF invoices to my customers?
No. After your applicable deadline, paper or PDF invoices will no longer be considered compliant.
