Bergerat Monnoyeur Polska - the exclusive, authorized distributor of Cat® construction machinery in Poland - had to ensure compliance with Poland's mandatory government e-invoicing platform across three separate invoicing systems. A key factor was the company's corporate reality: as part of the international Monnoyeur Group, operating in France, Belgium, Romania, Algeria and other markets, its finance department works on several independent platforms, some controlled by the Paris headquarters and some integrated with Caterpillar's own infrastructure. Serving thousands of clients in the construction, mining and earthmoving sectors, the company could not afford any break in invoicing continuity.

One schema, three sources of data

A complex structure and a history of acquisitions meant that invoice data existed in very different shapes across the organisation - including in a legacy system. Before the KSeF project could begin, it was essential to deploy an integration broker (middleware) capable of translating these heterogeneous formats into the mandatory KSeF schema. With credit notes removed under KSeF regulations, this feature became business-critical for operational continuity.
